Built in 1868 by the then-Territorial Governor of Minnesota, the Alexander Ramsey House has been restored to reflect the Victorian-era lifestyles of its upper-class inhabitants. Hour-long tours of the home by guides in period costume give the story behind the structure and the Ramsey family, as well as highlighting some of the important antique items that fill the home's interior. The house is located in the the West 7th neighborhood of the city, just south of Downtown and the Xcel Energy Center.
