The sprawling Minnesota Zoo is home to animals from around the world, grouped together by their shared natural habitat. Exhibits at the zoo are arranged in five areas: the Minnesota Trail, featuring native Minnesota animals; the Northern Trail, featuring northern animals; the Tropics Trail, an indoor walking trail featuring animals from the tropics; Discovery Bay, an activity area themed around marine wildlife; and Wells Fargo Family Farm, a petting zoo themed around barnyard animals. A popular attraction is the Great Clips IMAX Theatre, which shows feature films and documentaries. It is located about 20 miles south of the twin cities and 10 miles south of the Mall of America.
