The Raptor Center focuses solely upon care for, research on and conservation of birds of prey including owls, hawks and falcons. Visitors to the center can see some of the birds that are being cared for, learn about their natural habitats and what needs to be done to ensure the survival of these majestic creatures. Many programs sponsored by the center are tailored to student groups of various ages, covering topics like birds of prey native to Minnesota, owls, falcons and the sport of falconry and myths about raptors. It is located on the campus of the University of Minnesota-Saint Paul, near the University of Minnesota - Les Bolstad Golf Course and Como Park.
Open Tue. - Fri. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Sat. - Sun. noon - 4:00 p.m.; Closed Mon.
Adults $7.50; Seniors and Students $5; Children 2 and under are free.
